Marathi diwas is celebrated in honour of the Marathi language. Marathi being the official language of the State of Maharashtra, the main focus of this celebration is to promote Maharashtrian culture among students. Students present a variety of traditional activities. Teachers also organise competitions in Marathi essay writing and recitation of poems in Marathi.
The aim behind is to generate a level of sensitivity and humanity in our society among the future generation.
